Contributions offered for publication are subject to editorial review. The editing board reserves the right to make suggestions on the contents and to make the necessary adjustments in style, grammar, punctuation, and citation. NIPR will usually not consider for publication contributions that have been submitted or accepted elsewhere for publication. NIPR publishes articles in Dutch and in English. Contributions should be clearly structured and be divided in sections and, where appropriate sub sections (1., 1.1., 1.1.1 etc.). The first page should include the full title of the article, as well as the full name of the author and the affiliation. Contributions should include an abstract of 100-200 words. Scholarly articles are in principle limited to 8,000 words, including footnote references. Annotations to case law are limited to 5,000 words. Short contributions primarily aimed at practitioners as well as book reviews should not exceed 3,000 words. Book presentations by the author have a maximum of 1,500 words. Contributions should conform to the Author guidelines, available in the sub menu on the left side.
